Super Bowl 50 Weather Forecast Says No Rain

Super Bowl 50 will take place in Santa Clara, California in the Levi's Stadium. The 75,000 seat stadium is open and only the VIPs in suits are protected by the elements. Most of the fans and of course the players are exposed to the weather.
Right now it is raining in Santa Clara and it will until mid-week. Most of January is cloudy and rainy according to the current Accuweather forecasts.

 Super Bowl week is forecasted to be dominated by sunshine starting Feb. 2. The rain is supposed to come back on Monday Feb. 8. This forecast suggests that the weather god is a football fan.
San Francisco and the Bay Area will host lots of outdoor events around the Big Game. Good weather makes these events just dramatically more enjoyable. No rain on Super Bowl Sunday is also going to make the game more enjoyable for fans and easier for players.

As the forecast says, rain on Monday following Super Bowl Sunday, there is a sizable risk that this rain is already coming on Feb. 7. So far only 3.5 hours of rain are forecasted for Monday, Feb. 8. Even if the rain comes earlier, it will not be that much.

CBS is broadcasting the Super Bowl 50. The Super Bowl 2016 game will be preceded by a weeklong series of public events held throughout the Bay Area. The Super Bowl City fan village, the NFL Experience and the Media Center will be hosted in San Francisco. 
The Super Bowl 50 will get a week long treatment on CBS involving specials and Late Night take overs.
