Super Bowl 50 Halftime Show Stars Also Beyonce
The Super Bowl 50 Halftime Show is getting support from queen Beyoncé. Coldplay is headlining the Super Bowl 50 Halftime Show. Now the first guest of Coldplay is confirmed first by report on ET. Beyoncé, who performed the Super Bowl 2013 Halftime Show is making a comeback to the Superbowl stage.
It is not a big surprise that Coldplay chose Beyoncé as guest. The British band collaborated with her on their new album "A head full of dreams." Beyonce's voice is on the trac titled "Hymn for the Weekend." Her appearance likely means that this song is part of Coldplay's Halftime Show track list. Beyonce is definitely going to bring the sexy to the Super Bowl 50 Halftime Show.
Besides Beyoncé, Coldplay worked with Noel Gallagher, Tove Lo, Khatia Buniatishvili and Merry Clayton on the album. If any of these performers will also make a Super Bowl Halftime appearance is not known.
Bruno Mars is still in the rumor mill as guest performer in the Super Bowl 50 Halftime Show. He was leading the Halftime Show in 2014.
Pepsi and the NFL announced Coldplay as Super Bowl 50 Halftime Show act in early December. Coldplay's front man Chris Martin is creating a Halftime Show that will have elements of the NFL's On the Fifty campaign, honoring the past, recognizing the present and looking ahead to the next 50 years, including guest artists. Who Coldplay will invite to the Super Bowl Halftime Show has not been revealed.
The Pepsi Super Bowl Halftime Show is the most-watched musical event of the year. More than 118.5 million viewers in the U.S. watched last year's show, marking the most-watched Halftime Show ever. Coldplay should be able to top that as Super Bowl 50 will be bigger event just because of the 50th anniversary.
Super Bowl 50 will take place on February 7, 2016, in Santa Clara, at the Levi's Stadium. The stadium is the home of the home of the San Francisco 49ers.
