Ridley Scott Teases LG Super Bowl Commercial at CES 2016
LG announced a Super Bowl commercial in December. The LG Super Bowl 50 ad marks the first-ever entry of South Korean consumer company LG into the Super Bowl.
The LG Super Bowl 50 ad will be produced by Ridley Scott's production company, RSA Films and Jake Scott will direct the LG commercial that will feature the LG OLED TV technology and introduces a soon-to-be announced addition to its OLED TV line.
Ridley and Jake Scott appeared in a video message at LG's CES 2016 keynote to tease the LG Super Bowl 50 commercial.
Ridley Scott, who directed the iconic Apple 1984 Super Bowl ad said about the LG Super Bowl ad: "The LG ad would be big, bold and epic." His son added according to THR, "The LG Super Bowl ad will have a futuristic look of the TV and make it as cinematic as possible."
LG has not revealed yet any further details about the company's first Super Bowl ad. Jake Scott is though a great story teller, as the Lost Dog commercial proved.
The LG Super Bowl 50 commercial is one of the must watch Super Bowl 50 commercials. Based on what Ridley Scott and Jake Scott said it will be a like a 30 second Hollywood science fiction blockbuster.
Super Bowl 50 will take place on February 7, 2016, in Santa Clara, at the Levi's Stadium. The stadium is the home of the home of the San Francisco 49ers. Super Bowl 50 will be topping all previous Super Bowl's because of the anniversary. Marketers are flocking to Super Bowl 50 and it will be a huge TV event.
