Audi releases A3 Super Bowl Ad

Audi will promote its new A3 in the Super Bowl XLVIII Advertisement. The giant car company has released some teasers just to wet the beaks of football fans who also anticipate the ads during the big game.



The 60 second ad is the seventh consecutive Super Bowl ad of this German car company. The ad will be shown during the firs in-game break right after the third quarter kick-off.

Audi America Director of Marketing Loren Angelo said they are excited to return to the biggest advertising stage in America. She said Super Bowl is the perfect venue to launch the Audi A3 since the big game is the most anticipated sporting even tin America. A3 is an all-new, technologically advanced car that would be a game changing vehicle for the company in the U.S., she said.

The Audi A3 sedan, which is the first of the A3 line up, will be in the market spring of this year. The A3 sedan is very important for the expanding Audi A3 family. It will be released at a $29,900 manufacturer’s suggested retail price. By fall this year, another A3 will be released, the Audi A3 Cabriolet. This A3 is a TDI clean diesel sedan, which is a top performing S3 sedan. Finally, in early 2015 the Audi A3 Sportback will be released. It is an e-tron gasoline car which is an electric plug-in hybrid.

Audi is an entry-level luxury car manufacturer, but their Audi A3 family expansion exceeds the boundaries and raises the standards of what cars should be all about. Audi A3 is the first ever A-segment vehicle that offers MMI technology, 4G LTE connectivity, Bang & Olufsen audio, and Audi drive select.

These are some of the major features of the Audi A3 that fans should anticipate during the Super Bowl XLVIII on February 2 at the MetLife Stadium East Rutherford, New Jersey.

Last year Audi presented their “Prom” advertisement during the Super Bowl ad stage. Fans can watch that advertisement on YouTube. It has three alternative endings, and it is up to the fans to choose which ending they want. According to reports, the Audi A3 advertisement will be the best Super Bowl Ad in line with the car company’s track record.

Brief history of A3

The first Audi A3 which pioneered in 2996 the premium compact segment. But that distinction was only significant in Europe. Ultimately, it was the Mini Cooper that dominated the compact premium market. For the past few years, Auid’s A3 has been trying to redefine its essence. It has been constantly selling in Europe and is making up 20 percent of Audi’s sales, but its executives know that the A3 could do better in other places.    

Audi A3 expansion

From 1996 to 2003, the first two generations of A3s were all hatchbacks. Now, Audi is expanding its appeal to the global market. The U.S. has been taking in delivery of A3’s third generation since autumn of 2013. The third generation A3, which includes the Sedan, the Cabriolet, and the Sportback, will be showcased during the Audi Super Bowl ad on Feb 2.
