The Top Super Bowl Ads measured by Consumer Impact

Sunday, February 5, 2012

Over the past weeks we took regular snapshots of the popularity of the early released 2012 Super Bowl ads on Youtube. Our ranking just went by the number of views on Youtube and today when we posted the final ranking before the Super Bowl Game broadcast had the Acura Super Bowl ad as the winner.

But there is also a different way to look at the Super Bowl ads. The Wrap reports that social media analytics firm General Sentiment released a ranking based on consumer impact.

Based on their analytics Dannon had the most to gain from their first time Super Bowl participation in the past two weeks. Followed by ETrade and Doritos.

Looking at the greatest media value gains by dollars per day then Samsung is in the lead. The Korean Electronics company built quite some buzz for their unreleased Galaxy Note Super Bowl Ad.

Behind Samsung in this ranking is Coca-cola and Honda.

The real picture of what company gained the most from their Super Bowl ads will reveal itself early next week. Only the ads with the most impact will still be talked about then.

The Super Bowl 2012 is taking place in Indianapolis on Sunday, February 5th, 2012. Watch already the first fully released Super Bowl 2012 Commercials online.
