Initially nobody had any intel on who the mystery Super Bowl Advertiser is behind the Ferris Bueller teaser. A couple hours later a rumor broke that Honda that is behind bringing Ferris Bueller to the Super Bowl.
Now Automotive News posted a screen grab from the Honda CR-V Super Bowl 2012 Ad and confirms the story.
In the Honda Commercial Ferris Bueller aka Matthew Broderick calls in sick to his agent and avoids him in his Honda CR-V throughout the 60 second ad. The Honda spot was indeed directed by Todd Philips, creator of The Hangover Movie.
