History Super Bowl Ad promotes Swamp People

History Channel is running their first ever Super Bowl ad. Adweek reports that the History Super Bowl 2012 commercial is promoting the show Swamp People, which will go into its third season.
The 3rd season of Swamp People is launching on February 9. This is just 4 days after the Super Bowl XLVI.
Swamp People is an unscripted show about, you guessed it People who live in the swamp. The show shows the live of the Cajuns of the Atchafalaya Swamp in Louisiana. Season 2 of SWAMP PEOPLE set a record for the program, with 4.1 million Total Viewers.

Season Three of SWAMP PEOPLE follows these intrepid hunters and family men as they head out in pursuit of these most powerful beasts during the 30-day alligator hunting season, regulated by the state of Louisiana.
