Audi stayed silent on the story of the Audi Super Bowl ad. In an article of the New York Times, the German car maker let slip some details and a screen grab.
The Audi Super Bowl 2012 Ad has vampires. Vampires are of course a hot choice as vampire movies and TV shows are totally trending like the Twilight Saga. Audi is supposed to kick off their social campaigns and teasers for their Super Bowl commercial today or tomorrow.
Watch out for the hashtag #SoLongVampires on Twitter.
This hashtag actually hints at the story of the Audi Super Bowl ad. My guess is that with the Audi LED light vampires are dying like flies even at night as the Audi car lights are creating day light. At 5,500 Kelvin, Audi LED headlights are the closest re-creation of daylight available. Additionally traditional lights take 0.2 seconds to engage, while LEDs are immediately activated. Vampires have no chance!
Audi will also pre-release the full Super Bowl 2012 ad ahead of the game. Expect the release in the week before the Super Bowl XLVI.
