The Super Bowl XLVI will take place on February 5, 2012 in Indianapolis. Super Bowl Ads for Geeks is providing inside coverage of the Super Bowl Ads from now until the big Super Bowl Sunday. The team of I4U News is featuring again the exclusive Super Bowl for Geeks Guide. The new Super Bowl Ads for Geeks blog is expanding the coverage of the Super Bowl commercials, ad rankings, social campaigns, videos, competitions and everything else related to Super Bowl Ads.
To start the news off
Besides the new Super Bowl logo for 2012 (see above) there is already some news from NBC on the show the will schedule to air after the Super Bowl. Fox aired a special episode of Glee with huge success this year. According to MovieWeb, NBC will air a special hour of The Voice. The Voice is a casting show for vocal talents. Season one of The Voice is over and NBC might have the premiere of the 2nd season after the Super Bowl 2012.

In regards to the Super Bowl 2012 Ad sales, NBC upped the price to $3.5 million for the 30 second spots according to AdAge. This is $500,000 more than last year. Of course these numbers are never official.

AdAge also has already started their list of Super Bowl 2012 advertisers. The list includes the usual advertisers like Anheuser-Busch Inbev, Audi,, Coca-Cola, GM, Hyundai, PepsiCo, Toyota, Volkswagen and Best Buy. We will start our own Super Bowl 2012 Advertiser tracking list very soon.
