M&M’S will step into a starting role in Super Bowl XLVI instead of SNICKERS Brand, which has enjoyed back-to-back success through the “You’re Not You When You’re Hungry” campaign. The Betty White staring Snickers Super Bowl Ad from 2010 has become a classic. The 2011 Snickers Super Bowl Ad was good too, but was not as unique and entertaining.
“We’re very excited to have M&M’S featured during one of the world’s largest parties,” said Debra A. Sandler, Chief Consumer Officer, Mars Chocolate North America. “SNICKERS will prove to be a tough act to follow, but we’re confident our M&M’S spot will have everyone talking on the morning of February 6.”
M&M’S will announce additional details about their Super Bowl ad in January 2012. I hope the M&M'S Super Bowl commercial will go beyond the M&M'S characters. They are already getting annoyingly boring. How about Adriana Lima eating M&M'S in slow motion close-up?

Mars unveiled the details about the M&M's Super Bowl 2012 Ad. A new Spokescandy named Ms. Brown will be unveiled in the M&M's Super Bowl commercial.
